There’s a new contender for top-dog and it lives on Solana.
Bonk (BONK), newest meme-coin going viral on social media, is getting recognition and support from some of the biggest names on Solana.
“Bonk is the first Solana dog coin for the people, by the people,” reads the bonkcoin website.
With little else too it, BONK is simply an SPL token on Solana where “everyone gets a fair shot.”
Big players in the SOL ecosystem Magic Eden teased a BONK integration on their platform. Whilst unlikely the integration will actually go forward, its further pushed the legitimacy of the token in the eyes of the community.
There are currently over 89k wallets that hold $BONK, according to data from Birdeye.
BONK is up 122% in the last 24 Hours.

The Solana ecosystem has taken a recent hit with its native SOL token dipping below $10 for the first time in over two years.
It’s since recovered, and sits at $11.85 at the time of writing. SOL has seen a recent uptrend, with BONK leading the rally.
