The highly anticipated y00ts NFT and well-known DeGods NFT have had their accounts suspended on Twitter today, with the reasoning for the ban still unknown.
Founder @fankdegods tweeted about the ban stating, “All of our team’s twitter accounts were just suspended. Not sure if mine will be to. Just be patient we are contacting @Twitter right now. This could be an attack. Do not click any links.”
A mass ban wave has hit all related accounts to Frank’s projects, including @DeGodsNFT, @y00tsNFT, @y00tlist, @DeGodsSalesBot, and more. It is unclear whether this is an attack on the upcoming y00ts mint or a mistake on Twitters end.
“No matter what happens, we’re going to figure it out like we always have,” said Frank in a later tweet.
The DeGods/y00ts community have been actively trying to get Twitter’s attention on the matter by tagging @TwitterSupport in numerous tweets.
Frank’s tweet to Twitter support has gained over 18k likes and 3k retweets at the time of writing.
This drama follows the launch of y00ts NFT, which is set to release on September 2nd. This could very well mean that the mint may be pushed back if access to the accounts has not been regained.
